Another year, one of our beaches of Bahia Principe has been awarded with the Blue Flag of quality and sustainability.
Thanks a good management that has taken place in the natural environment of the area, 1st of December we celebrated the Blue Flag Hoisting at the beach of Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro Resort.
The Blue Flag is a badge awarded annually by the Foundation for Environmental Education at beaches and marinas that meet a range of Environmental Conditions and facilities.
Blue Flag status is awarded to beaches in more than thirty countries in Europe, South Africa, New Zealand, Canada and the Caribbean. Compliance with the Blue Flag criteria requires compliance with water quality standards, safety, general services and environmental management.
